Choosing a counsellor can feel daunting, and it's important that you find the person who's right for you. I offer an introductory session at a reduced rate, to give us an opportunity to get to know each other a little, talk about what's brought you to counselling and your needs, and find out whether working together could be helpful for you.
I offer short or long-term counselling depending on your preference and needs, for adults and young people aged 16+. Sessions are normally for fifty minutes, at the same time and on the same day every week. However, other arrangements for frequency and length of sessions may be possible depending on individual circumstances.
I am able to offer both face-to-face and Skype video-call sessions depending on your needs. Home visits may also be possible on a case-to-case basis for those with profound disabilities.
I currently have morning, afternoon and evening slots available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with options for other days if you do not require your sessions to be on the same day every week.
A reduced rate may be possible on a case-to-case basis, depending on individual circumstances.
Cancellation policy Forty-eight hours’ notice is required for cancellation without charge. I understand however, that sometimes missing an appointment at short notice is unavoidable, so I allow for one missed appointment with less than forty-eight hours’ notice, without charge, in any six-month period.
